Which Star Signs Are Most Compatible For Siblings?

An important but often overlooked reason why some siblings get on really well while others are forever fighting with each other lies in their Star Sign compatibility.

Star Signs belonging to the same Element are the most compatible.

The geometrically favorable 120° - or 4 Signs - spacing between Zodiac signs in the same Element makes for an especially harmonious sibling relationship and a level of compatibility well above the norm.

This is because brothers and sisters born under Star Signs belonging to the same Element (Fire, Earth, Air or Water) have an inborn understanding of where each other are coming from. As a result they’ll fall out with each other less frequently and make up again more easily than might otherwise be the case.

So now let’s take a look at each Element group in turn.

Fire Sign siblings are similarly upbeat and warm-hearted.

Fire Sign children (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are good compatibility matches for each other because they share one another’s passion, enthusiasm and gloriously optimistic outlook on life. True, they’ll have a lot of fiery quarrels since they’re all quite bossy and headstrong, and none of them like taking orders, especially not from their brothers and sisters. But because they’re good sports and don’t tend to hold a grudge, they’re quick to bury the hatchet and move on.

Earth Sign siblings are similarly sensible and pragmatic.

Earth Sign siblings (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) generally have far too much commonsense to waste their time and energy on pointless arguments. They’d much rather busy themselves doing something useful and constructive. Being very territorial by nature, if a brother or sister interferes with or takes away their belongings they can of course get furiously angry. But usually they’re sufficiently respectful of each other’s rights of ownership to avoid invading one another’s space.

Air Sign siblings are similarly reasonable and fair-minded.

Air Sign kids (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) approach their inter-relationship ups and downs with characteristic logic and detachment. Before lashing out at each other in the case of a disagreement, their instinctive reaction is to think it through in search of a reasonable solution. Of course, they’ll argue a lot because their ideas will often be quite different. But because they’re good at communicating with each other clearly and intelligently, they usually manage to negotiate a fair compromise.

Water Sign siblings are similarly kind and empathic.

Water Sign children (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) hate to fight because they have such a strong emotional connection, when they hurt each other they feel like they’re hurting themselves. But that’s not to say they don’t frequently go into a big, long sulk with each other. With their extreme sensitivity, they can get badly upset over even quite minor grievances and when they’re in a mood they can’t easily shift it. Fortunately though, their deep attachment to each other means they’ll usually end up kissing and making up (although forgiveness is a little harder for Scorpio!)
